By creating an account, obtaining an API key, or using the PropSports API service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you") and PropTechUSA.ai, operated by Justin Erickson ("PropTechUSA.ai," "we," "us").
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email.
PropSports API provides real-time sports data via a REST API. The Service includes:
The Service is provided with best-effort uptime. We target 99.9% uptime on an ongoing basis but do not guarantee 100% availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any endpoint at any time with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
Upon successful payment, an API key is generated and delivered to your registered email address within 60 seconds. Your API key is your credential and your responsibility.
You must provide accurate registration information (name, email) and keep it current. Fraudulent or inaccurate information may result in immediate termination without refund.
PropSports API is offered under the following plans:

Prices are in USD and billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Rate limits reset at midnight UTC. Exceeding your rate limit returns a 429 Too Many Requests response and does not count against your daily limit.
The Demo plan is intended for evaluation only and is not permitted for production use or commercial applications.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Price changes do not apply retroactively to the current billing period.
Refunds: Due to the nature of instant API key delivery, we do not offer refunds on subscription charges. If you experience a service failure on our end that materially impacts your usage, contact us and we will make it right.
PropSports API offers different data-use rights depending on your plan and any written order form or addendum. The one-hour caching allowance in the standard Terms is a temporary performance/cache right, not a permanent archival-data license.

Permanent storage. If your application needs to maintain a historical database of completed-game play-by-play, box scores, game metadata, statistics, or other API output beyond the temporary caching period, you must have a Mega / Enterprise plan or separate written data-license addendum that expressly authorizes that storage. The written license may define permitted data categories, products, users, retention periods, attribution, and redistribution rights.
Use after cancellation or expiration. Standard-plan rights to access and use the Service end when the subscription or applicable access period ends. Unless your written order form or addendum expressly grants post-termination rights, you may not continue production use, commercialization, redistribution, or derivative-data refresh workflows based on retained PropSports API data after access ends. Reasonable backup copies maintained solely for disaster recovery, legal compliance, or security purposes may be retained only as required and may not be used for production or commercial purposes.
Enterprise retained-data license. Where an Enterprise or data-license agreement expressly grants a perpetual or continuing retained-data right, you may continue using the specific historical data lawfully retrieved during the active license period after cancellation, subject to the scope, redistribution limits, source-specific restrictions, and other conditions stated in that agreement. Cancellation still ends access to new data, updates, corrections, and future API responses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Redistribution is separate. Permission to store data does not automatically include permission to resell, sublicense, bulk-export, expose through another API, or otherwise redistribute raw or substantially similar PropSports API data. Those rights require express written authorization.
Source-specific restrictions. Some data made available through the Service originates from third-party or public data sources with their own terms, licenses, or restrictions. Any historical-storage or retained-data rights we grant are subject to applicable source-specific restrictions and do not grant rights that PropSports API does not have authority to grant.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate key revocation and account termination without refund.
PropSports API aggregates data from public sources including the MLB Stats API, NHL Stats API, NBA Stats API, Baseball Savant (Statcast), ESPN, and Open-Meteo (weather). Proprietary Poisson model odds are generated from our own Statcast pipeline — not scraped from sportsbooks. These sources are consistent with those used by major sports analytics platforms.
While we make best efforts to provide accurate, timely data, we make no guarantees of data accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Sports data is inherently real-time and subject to correction, revision, and delay. Model odds are generated outputs, not official sportsbook lines, and carry their own margin of error.
You should not use PropSports API data as the sole basis for financial decisions. We are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on API data in any context, including sports betting, fantasy sports, or financial trading.
Source APIs may change without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain endpoint compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to any specific data field or model output.
The PropSports API platform — including its infrastructure, Poisson model, documentation, code, design, and branding — is owned by PropTechUSA.ai. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service within the scope of your plan.
Underlying sports data (game scores, statistics, player information) is sourced from public APIs. We make no claim to ownership of raw sports data. Your use of such data remains subject to the terms of the original data sources.
"PropSports API," "PropTechUSA.ai," "PropBetEdge," and associated logos are trademarks of PropTechUSA.ai. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us at sales@proptechusa.ai. Your key will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your API key and account immediately and without notice if:
Upon termination, your API key will be revoked and access to the Service will cease. Rights concerning previously retrieved or stored API data are governed by the Historical Storage & Data Licensing section and any applicable written order form or addendum. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA OR MODEL OUTPUTS PROVIDED WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROPTECHUSA.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ramsey County, Minnesota.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
